In the world of Zari, love is complicated, loyalty is tested, and family secrets threaten to destroy everything. The show was all about drama, from obsession to betrayal, stolen children to long-buried truths 

Here’s a look back at some of the most memorable moments that had fans talking: 

Lola’s jealousy had no boundaries 

Lola’s obsession with Nina has been toxic since their childhood. After she discovered Nina’s identity, she made it her mission to take whatever Nina owned, no matter the cost. Lola’s jealousy pushed her to take everything Nina cared about, including her life. She married Bien, not for love, but for necessity —the compulsive need to possess what isn’t hers.  

A disturbing family secret 

In an attempt to protect Lola, Susan hid the painful reality that she was not her biological daughter, but Risper was. By the time this truth was revealed, Risper and Lola were both in love with the same man—Bien.   

The love triangle between Harriet, Dylan and Zanelle 

Dylan’s first love, Harriet, who was supposed to be dead, reappeared several years after he married Zanelle. Her return made Zanelle anxious because Dylan was still in love with Harriet. She opted to fall pregnant in the hopes of mending their marriage, but Dylan’s heart shifted even more away from her. He and Harriet remarried, but she tragically died in a car accident. But despite the loss, Dylan and Zanelle did not get back together. 

The quiet before the storm 

As time passed, the two rival sisters reached an unusual truce. Nina married Lwanda and Lola married Bien, and they both moved into the same house. They both became pregnant, which strengthen their relationship even further. However, as we all know, peace between these two sisters is not permanent. 

Kenan’s decepton and and revenge scheme 

Kenan, a master manipulator and cold-blooded killer, returned to take revenge on the Kambarages. He married Linda—Dylan’s sister—just to get close to the family. What no one knew is that Kenan was the man responsible for the murder of Lwanda’s parents. When Lwanda uncovers the truth and seeks revenge.  

A betrayal...and a stolen baby 

Just as Kenan prepared to kill Lwanda, Nina shot and wounded Kenan. Kenan came after her, and she went into hiding. In an attempt to help her sister, Lola accidentally gets thrown in front of a speeding car and lost her unborn child. Grief turned to fury as Lola vowed to take revenge. In a jaw-dropping twist, she stole Nina’s newborn from the hospital nursery.
